🚧 Site under construction 🚧
The old website is: here. The search engine is: here.Goals
We want to form a community of people who love games, and want to contribute making them better. We will use open source software and hardware as much as possible. It's a do it yourself approach: simplicity and ownership are core values. That being said, making games is hard. To learn the many skills required to make and publish games, the logiqub project will teach its members how to:
- create native games (based on the SDL2 library and the logiqub virtual machine)
- create your own portable programming languages (without going into complicated compiler theory)
- optimize programs by choosing the appropriate data structures and algorithms
- assemble single board computers, and portable consoles
- run small language models locally (artificial intelligence)
Online services will include:
- game development search engine (human curated database)
- community message board
- privileged access to project leadership
- tournaments based on the logiqub game library
Eventually logiqub.org will be an education non-profit organization. Donations will be accepted after the organization is created (a bit later this year).
